Jorge Barrientos has extensive experience in Enterprise software implementations and new technologies development working with important multinationals such as Newell-Rubbermaid, XEROX, Xumak and Millicom deploying globally business software applications. He was also involved in several startups from mobile gaming to sustainable energy hardware.

Jorge is a Guatemalan citizen, he did his studies as a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering at Universidad Galileo in Guatemala and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Preston University. He has achieved several certifications including Data Science by Google and John Hopkins University, he also participated in the MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp pursuing his certificate in New Ventures Leadership by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, achieving the second place for most innovative project presented. He is currently coursing his Master’s in Economics with the Universidad Francisco Marroquin from Guatemala and the Economics Studies Center from Madrid and a Professional Certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering at MIT xPRO – Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Jorge is fluent in Spanish, English and written Portuguese.
